Author Guidelines
Acceptance Criteria
Manuscripts submitted to CFD Letters must be within the area of interest of the journal and contribute to the knowledge in computational fluid dynamics theory and applications; be original in authorship and publication; be based on adequate factual record; and be significant in data or treatment. For the Tutorials section of the journal, manuscripts should conclusively present hands-on technical information in any topic related to the CFD practice, for both new and existing techniques. Book reviews should reflect critical and analytical views of eminent books published in the recent years.
The language of publication is English and the manuscript must be understandable and correct in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
THE MAXIMUM LENGTH OF MANUSCRIPTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED 12 PAGES INCLUDING FIGURES AND REFERENCES.
Formatting
1. Manuscripts should be double-spaced typed (including the abstract, references, and figure captions). Authors should adhere to using 12-point font size (Times New Roman) and single column format: A4 (210 x 297 mm) with 20 mm margins, or 8 1/2 x 11 in. with 1 in. margins and page numbers at the bottom to facilitate peer review.
2. Maximum 5,000 words or word equivalents for the entire submission (excluding references).
3. Units of Measurement: ONLY SI Units (including tables and figures).
4. Tables should be in portrait format (Each table is not to exceed a width of 150 mm (6 in.): Each table should have a title and a number, which is cited in the body of the main text. All numbered references must be cited in sequential order (that is, 1,2,3...). Do not create your table as an Excel file. Do not place tables as graphics, do not use text boxes within table cells, and do not place tables in landscape format. Do use a minimum of 8 pt. text size.
5. Figures should be in portrait format: Each figure should have a title and a number, which is cited in the body of the main text. All numbered figures must be cited in sequential order (that is, 1, 2, 3...). Figures are typically reduced before publication and, therefore, clarity in the original submission is essential.

The suggested sections of a typical manuscript and the order are as follows:
1. Title - 70 Characters Maximum, including spaces between words.
2. Authors' Names and Affiliations - First name, middle initial (if any), last name (given name first, followed by family name or surname). For affiliations, list the institution and department names in full (if applicable), city, state/province, postal code, and country (if not the United States).
3. Abstract - 150 Words Maximum Include on the first page of the manuscript with a concise statement of the principal findings and conclusions.
4. Keywords - 9 Keywords Maximum used for indexing and other information-retrieval purposes.
5. Body of Main Text: All headings and sub-headings should be numbered consecutively (i.e. 1.0, 1.1, 1.2.1...etc). Typical sections may include:
6. Introduction
7. Research Significance-100 Words Maximum that identifies the significance and potential impact of the reported work on the state of the art or state of practice
8. Analytical/numerical investigation or procedure (this may involve development of models and/or modification/application of existing procedures)
9. Validation/verification of results
10. Discussion of results
11. Summary and/or conclusions
12. Acknowledgments - If the author(s) wishes to recognize any individuals, organizations, or agencies for assistance or support for the reported work.

Upon the final acceptance of the manuscript, the corresponding author should reformat the manuscript according to the CFDL template.
